These dyes get their name from the fact that all of their molecules contain a sulphur bond. They are available in black colour. These dyes are inexpensive and simple to make, and they come in powder and soluble forms. Sulphur dyes are water insoluble dyes that are strongly colored. Some colors are only partially water soluble.
